The Severn is the larger of the two huts we build, measuring 22 x 8ft. The extra space on offer makes it a perfect fit for either two couples or a family of 4.

We have a standard layout for both our hut types, however this can be easily amended in the design stages.
You tell us what you want the style and purpose of your hut to be and we will tailor the design to suit these requests.
Our larger Severn hut can be modified to be able to sleep 4 by replacing the dining area with a sofa bed.
By having many available choices and allowing us to be so flexible, these options ensure that no two Regency shepherd hut’s will be the same.

Our windows and doors are double-glazed and made from the highly durable hardwood ‘Idigbo’ – produced by our resident joiner Glyn who’s finishing is of the highest calibre. They are then finished in a waterproof, polyurethane spray paint giving them a supreme finish and maximum protection.
All our huts are cladded in green oak and traditional corrugated tin is used for the roofs.
For our hut interiors, we only consider the best materials available to create a high-end, sumptuous feel.
Our worktops are made in quartz. The kitchen doors and frames are produced with European ash and all joinery is finished in American white oak.
For a spot of stargazing on a summer’s night, you will find a double-glazed, curved roof window, situated above the double bed.
Engineered oak flooring is fitted underfoot, for style and flexibility.
We pride ourselves in using a variety of homegrown materials, which we endeavour to source as local to us as we can. For example British green oak and curved “wriggly” tin roof sheets.
We also aim to be environmentally conscious when sourcing products for our huts. By shopping locally, this helps to reduce our carbon footprint. As well as using materials such as sheep’s wool insulation, eco-design wood burning stoves and all water based paints, we are helping to do our bit for the planet.
